1963 suicide door Fiat 600. Sold new in the USA and converted to an Abarth replica, with full body modifications, and raced in the US in the 1970’s. Re-commissioned in 2011 with significant performance upgrades and subsequently achieving class wins in HRDC Touring Greats in all 2011 to 2014 seasons. Newly refreshed engine and gearbox and race ready for the 2018 season.

 

Specification:

  • Middle Barton prepared A112 full race engine, with further improvements by Throbnozzle Engineering. 1050cc, c80 bhp, with 40 DCNF Weber carburettor and 4 into 1 exhaust manifold.
  • Scuderia Topolino close ratio 4 speed gearbox, professionally refreshed by Geartech in 2015.
  • Scuderia Topolino 9/39 ring and pinion and limited slip differential.
  • Lightened and balanced 600D flywheel modified to take diaphragm clutch pressure plate.
  • Scuderia Topolino Abarth style universal joint drive shafts.
  • Middle Barton 850 front disc and master cylinder conversion with Mintex competition brake pads.
  • Rewired to include Abarth triple instrument binnacle, classic style gauges, SunPro rev counter, Redline battery, red top fuel pump, long reach switches and bayonet type 8 point fuse box.
  • Toothed belt alternator and water pump drive.
  • Dunlop 450L13 tyres on Cromodora 13 x 5J wheels.
  • Bilstein shock absorbers.
  • Trimmed with correct Fiat 600 rubber mats, period Corbeau seat and leather steering wheel with Abarth horn push.
  • Fitted with manual cut off, hand held AFFF 1.75 litre extinguisher, substantial US style roll cage, alloy 2 litre oil catch tank, front and rear ow eyes.
  • 610kg without driver or fuel.
  • Spares package includes working previous 903cc race engine, Fiat 600 gearbox and road alloys/tyres.
