Once again a group of classic Abarth's suportted the Abarth UK at the national Abarth day at Rockingham Circuit near Corby,Northampts.
The classic group included 500,600,850 based cars together with examples of X19 and Strada.
We enjoyed two demonstration periods with the first session very challenging due initile heavy rain which soon dried out. The conditions caught out several drivers but without damage.
The Tornado Fiat led the pack in chalenging coditions in the first session closelly followed by a hard charging 1000 TC Corsa and a Strada 130TC.
Despite the efforts of the British climate all the participants of classic and modern Abarth's enjoyed the day and came away inpressed with the infield circuit of Rockingham that was both intresting and challenging to drive.
The owner of MBG had the privilege of two hot laps as a passenger with the Works driver in a factory prepared 124 Rallye Car. He observed that the speed of the car was impressive the bracking capacity was amazing
Our thanks go to Abarth UK for organizing another super day and the classic Abarth regade look forward to supporting simillar events in 2018.
