Abarth hillclimb exponent Phil Jones has swapped his rapid 850 TC Corsa for a Ralt RT30 Alfa Romeo Novamotor. This was a successful Formula 3 car in Scandinavia in 1985 and more lately was a successful sprint car in the hands of Phil Lynch.
During the course of the winter the car has undergone a nuts and bolts rebuild and was tested at Turweston in March. Phil Jones will be making his competition debut at Loton Park, Nr. Shrewsbury, Shropshire over the Easter Bank Holiday weekend on Sunday 8th and Monday 9th April.
