I was saddened to learn of Guy Croft’s passing early last week. He has been an integral part of the Fiat engine tuning scene for many decades and is known all over the world.
Guy is best known for preparing Fiat twin cam engines and his power units can be found in many types of vehicle in all parts of the globe. His excellent book on the subject is the ‘gold standard’ for serious engine builders of the Fiat twin cam engine.
I first met Guy when he was based in Kent and enjoyed a constructive and friendly relationship with him for over thirty years. I shall miss his technical expertise and his pithy humour.
Rest in Peace my oldtwin cam mate.
